Jobgether is hiring an AI Solution Engineer to apply AI tools creatively and responsibly across the software development lifecycle. This remote role focuses on improving digital services for government clients by digitizing workflows, building user-centered solutions, and enhancing accessibility and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Identify, evaluate, and assemble AI-powered tools to accelerate development workflows and improve digital forms.
- Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate digital solutions, validating hypotheses with stakeholders through feedback loops.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and engineering, to integrate AI workflows and maintain production systems.
- Apply systems-level thinking to develop solutions that meet both user and stakeholder needs.
- Build and maintain digital forms using established design systems, integrating with APIs and third-party workflows.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508), PDF/JSON generation, and data privacy requirements.
- Write and maintain automated tests for form logic, validations, accessibility, and system integrity.
- Share insights and best practices to strengthen team knowledge and promote responsible AI usage.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and enabling technologies to design, build, and deploy software/services.
- Ability to rapidly evaluate ideas and test solutions using various AI frameworks (e.g., Vercel V0, Claude, Copilot, Devin).
- Holistic understanding of UX research, product design, engineering, hosting, security, and testing.
- Proficiency in React/TypeScript, Node.js or Python.
- Strong skills in accessibility compliance, PDF generation, JSON serialization, and relevant AI libraries/tools.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright) integrated into development workflows.
- Familiarity with data governance, model evaluation, and responsible AI use.
- Ability to thrive in self-managed, collaborative environments and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Must have lived and worked in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with US Web Design System, Section-508/WCAG accessibility standards.
- Prior military service (Veterans encouraged to apply).
