Adzuna is hiring a Software Developer to join a growing team of 35 engineers. You'll play a key role in the development and growth of our job search engine, starting with supporting the recently acquired Seiza platform. Over time, you'll contribute to the full range of Adzuna products, working collaboratively with product, data science, and business teams.
What You'll Do
- Contribute quickly to production code and participate in the design, maintenance, and implementation of system features.
- Work independently in a constantly evolving, unstructured environment.
- Help define technical direction and processes as the company grows.
- Manage and monitor systems, embracing DevOps principles.
- Create structured code that is fast, scalable, testable, reliable, and robust.
- Contribute to the growth of systems, technology, revenue, and the creation of new products and services.
- Improve and optimize the technology stack, development tools, and processes.
What We're Looking For
- A strong engineering background, curiosity, and a sense of delivery.
- Experience in modern backend development using Go and PostgreSQL.
- Comfort in a pragmatic and dynamic environment.
- Motivation by responsibility, technical quality, and business impact.
- An exceptional work ethic, motivation, and passion.
- Proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in French.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes or Typescript/React/Next.js.
