About the Role
The IT Service Specialist will be responsible for delivering technical support, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services for a remote-first team.
Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Provide on-call support for IT emergencies and incidents.
- Manage IT vendor relationships and contracts.
- Implement and maintain IT security measures, including firewalls and antivirus software.
- Monitor IT system performance and capacity, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Manage IT budget and expenses, including cost tracking and reporting.
- Provide input on IT strategy and roadmap, aligning with business objectives.
- Manage IT service desk, including ticketing and incident management.
- Provide support for remote work technologies, including VPN and video conferencing.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle, including deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
- Provide support for IT-related events and projects, including conferences and workshops.
- Manage IT service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide support for IT-related procurement, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
- Manage IT disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Provide support for IT-related compliance and auditing, including data protection and privacy.
