The Timken Company, a global leader in engineered bearings and industrial motion products, is looking for an IT Security Intern to join our information technology team. This internship provides a meaningful opportunity to work on projects that impact the business and drive value across the function as an active member of our information security group.
What You'll Do
- Work on projects that impact the business and drive value across the function
- Gain meaningful and translatable experiences through value-added assignments
- Receive mentorship and guidance from IT leaders
- Complete potential projects such as compliance policy reviews, regulatory updates, and delivery of information security awareness trainings
What We're Looking For
- Must be a current Sophomore or Junior, enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree program (12 semester/credit hours) at an accredited four-year university
- Must be enrolled in one of the following majors: Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related major
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
