Humana Inc. is hiring an IT Product Owner 2 to manage product vision and roadmaps aligned with IT strategy. In this role, you will represent the voice of the customer, drive business value, and shape product direction for data-focused initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Manage and communicate the vision and roadmap for products to an Agile delivery team.
- Represent the voice of the customer to the team.
- Own the articulation and prioritization of backlog in small increments of value deliverable in short iterations.
- Drive value to the business by building and maintaining a product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Contribute to shaping the product direction, creating features, writing user stories, and innovation.
- Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives.
- Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, requiring minimal direction.
What We're Looking For
- 1–5 years of experience working in Agile environments as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience working with data teams or data-related products (e.g., data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data platforms).
- Ability to write clear user stories and maintain a product backlog.
- Strong communication skills for translating business needs into technical requirements.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Familiarity with SQL or basic data modeling concepts.
- Product Owner or Agile certification (e.g., CSPO, PSPO).
- Experience in healthcare or regulated data environments.
