About the Role
Design and maintain automation platforms to streamline IT operations, enhance security, and replace manual processes with scalable systems. Support infrastructure through scripting, cloud services, and compliance-focused development practices in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage core automation platforms, including an Automation Service Gateway, to standardize service exposure and security across IT operations.
- Identify automation opportunities and implement new processes using development, testing, and deployment best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to transition manual workflows into scalable systems that meet compliance requirements.
- Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support, troubleshooting issues and coordinating with vendors and internal teams for resolution.
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of experience in a comparable automation or IT operations role.
- Demonstrated ability to write scripts using Python, Terraform, or Bash.
- Strong familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Okta (including APIs and Orchestrator), and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of full software development lifecycle best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, GitHub usage, and build processes.
