The World Bank Group is looking for an IT Officer / Associate Senior Solutions Architect to join our mission-driven organization. You will provide technical leadership and guidance for complex projects within the World Bank Operations portfolio, ensuring the successful delivery of technical solutions that support Operations Staff. What You'll Do
- Assume the role of Technical Architect and lead solution delivery teams in the implementation, maintenance, and operation of business-critical applications supporting the World Bank’s Operations lines of business.
- Architect process integrations with applications and data platforms in other lines of business using both custom and industry-leading tools.
- Architect and lead the implementation of workflow patterns supporting various applications in the unit.
- Lead implementation of container-based document management systems supporting all applications within the department.
- Provide guidance to key stakeholders and support discussions on technical features of digital solutions, including ensuring release readiness.
- Apply technical and business knowledge to architect and supervise the implementation of solutions.
- Effectively document and communicate technical analyses, designs, and specifications.
- Work with the Information Security Team to satisfy its requirements and recommendations, and support related security testing.
- Identify, evaluate, and analyze overall systemic and complex issues.
- Apply scientific principles and best practices to design, develop, and support IT products, services, and solutions.
- Define technical architecture principles that guide technology decisions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
- Define solution architecture principles to guide solution decisions.
Team & Environment
You will provide guidance and work program oversight to a team of staff and a large team of developers from vendors located on-premises and off-shore. You will work with public and private sector partners, invest in groundbreaking projects, and use data, research, and technology to bring tangible and transformative changes.
Work Mode
This position is based in Chennai, India and follows a local-city work mode.
