We are recruiting an exceptionally skilled, hands-on, and technically adept IT Internal Audit Manager to spearhead and oversee comprehensive technology-related audit initiatives. This critical position reports directly to the Head of Internal Audit and will be responsible for strategizing and implementing diverse IT audits, encompassing SOX compliance, security assessments, privacy evaluations, IT risk analyses, and operational reviews. The role also provides crucial support for business control validation. The position will function as a trusted strategic partner, collaborating intimately with leadership across IT engineering, product development, financial, and cybersecurity domains to proactively identify potential risks and drive operational and control enhancements. RESPONSIBILITIES - Formulate and implement the annual IT audit strategy in partnership with the Head of Internal Audit, ensuring comprehensive coverage of high-priority technological domains. - Manage and execute the complete IT audit process (planning, implementation, documentation, and reporting). - Conduct IT SOX audits, emphasizing IT General Controls, application controls, and critical reports within key financial and operational systems. - Facilitate seamless coordination with external auditors to maximize internal audit credibility through efficient, meticulously documented control testing. - Design and execute sophisticated operational audits and advisory projects focusing on cybersecurity, data privacy, third-party risk, system development, transformation initiatives, HIPAA, and related technological compliance areas. - Effectively communicate audit findings, control weaknesses, and risk implications to senior management, supporting remediation through pragmatic, risk-focused guidance and monitoring timely corrective action implementation. - Support the Head of Internal Audit in preparing materials and presentations for Audit Committee reporting. - Serve as a technological controls and risk management expert, collaborating cross-functionally to understand upcoming process and system transformations and provide proactive advisory insights. - Offer direct support for business control testing and specialized projects, leveraging systemic expertise to enhance audit function capabilities. - Champion continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and practices, ensuring comprehensive documentation adheres to professional and regulatory standards. - Maintain current knowledge of technological trends, cybersecurity developments, and regulatory frameworks impacting internal audit. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in IT audit, IT compliance, or technology risk management, with strong preference for Big 4 accounting firm background. - Proven track record of leading comprehensive IT audits, including SOX, implementation reviews, maturity assessments, and IT operational evaluations. - Profound understanding of SOX compliance and control frameworks (COBIT, COSO, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC1/2). - Robust working knowledge of IT systems, controls, cybersecurity, privacy, and business processes. - Professional certification (CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CPA) required. - Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus on complex technical matters. - Demonstrated capacity to excel in rapidly evolving environments by balancing hands-on execution with strategic planning.
