Deliver technical support to customers using Machine Identity Security solutions, including Venafi and partner technologies. This role includes diagnosing issues, guiding product implementation, supporting solution design, and maintaining clear communication with customers and internal teams to promote sustained customer success.
Responsibilities
- Offer technical assistance to customers deploying and using Machine Identity Security software.
- Support customers in designing technical solutions using Venafi and related partner technologies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align product offerings with customer needs.
- Proactively communicate customer issues and log all interactions in the CRM system.
- Guide customers through the installation and customization of Venafi products in their environments.
- Build and sustain productive relationships with clients to support ongoing success.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in technical support or a comparable role within a software organization.
- At least 3 years in a consultancy or advisory capacity at a SaaS or security technology vendor.
- Ability to grasp complex technical systems and their components.
- Proven experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise-level systems.
- Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure, including standards, technologies, and implementations.
- Experience securing internet-facing applications using cryptographic methods and protocols.
- Familiarity with large-scale network architecture, design, and operations.
- Understanding of directory services and standards such as LDAP and Active Directory.
- Hands-on experience with databases like MS SQL and MySQL, including writing queries.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with QA and development teams to resolve intricate product issues.
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of product training materials.
- Assist in developing and maintaining product knowledge base content.
- Willingness to work early mornings, late hours, and rotating on-call shifts, including weekends.
