Charger Logistics Inc is looking for an IT Helpdesk Specialist to join our Querétaro site. In this role, you will be the face of our IT organization, providing frontline technical support during the night shift (4pm-12 am) for all end-user technology needs.
What You'll Do
- Deliver frontline technical support by documenting, troubleshooting, resolving, and prioritizing incoming help desk requests.
- Provide end users with technical support for company computers, applications, printers, phones, and other related technologies.
- Act as the primary contact to resolve hardware, software, and network problems reported via phone, email, or in person.
- Support Microsoft productivity applications, operating systems, and other business applications.
- Perform hardware and software support and maintenance for all laptop and desktop computers.
- Participate in projects aimed at improving business processes and infrastructure.
- Manage IT asset tracking and assist with the selection of new hardware and evaluation of new software.
- Provide support for mobile devices and other equipment used for data collection in production areas.
- Coordinate with technical teams for L2 and L3 issues and communicate resolutions to end users.
What We're Looking For
- A college diploma or university degree in computer science.
- 2-3 years of equivalent working experience as a Support Analyst.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- 2-3 years of recent IT support experience in a networked computer environment.
- Familiarity with various computer hardware, network printers, Windows operating systems, and O365.
- Exposure to networking tools and topologies such as TCP/IP, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
- Experience with remote and home office support challenges.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask and set priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to working harmoniously with people at all levels.
- Fine attention to detail and quality of work.
- Solid problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to remote sites as required.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and after hours.
- Ability to work a 6-day schedule.
