Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors was looking for an IT - Digital Engineering-Software Architect

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring an IT - Digital Engineering-Software Architect. In this leadership role, you will combine hands-on solutioning with strategic input to build and support scalable platforms on Salesforce Health Cloud and Data Cloud. You will drive technical excellence and agile delivery within a passionate, collaborative team.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce Developers, Admins, and QA Analysts, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration.
  • Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions aligned with business needs and platform best practices, including process flows and ERDs.
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders in discovery sessions and communicate technical feasibility.
  • Oversee documentation, peer reviews, code quality, and adherence to deployment processes using tools like Copado.
  • Provide technical leadership for all release activities, from readiness reviews to deployment and production support.
  • Coordinate functional and automated testing with QA teams and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Contribute to technical strategy, product roadmaps, and engineering reports while championing continuous improvement.
  • Participate in architecture and code reviews to ensure alignment with industry standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 7 years of software development experience.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or Health Cloud, including advanced configuration and coding.
  • Strong understanding of microservice architecture, relational databases, APIs, and scalable solution design.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Agile development, and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Copado.
  • Required Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, and Data or Application Architect.

  • Additional Salesforce certifications (Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud).
