About the Role

Nomura Asset Management International is hiring an Investment Research Analyst as part of its centralized equity analyst pool. In this role, reporting to the Director of Research, you will support multiple public equity product strategies from our Kansas City office, focusing on companies with a market capitalization greater than $10 billion.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct deep, fundamental analysis on companies within the financial services sector.
  • Create and maintain detailed financial forecasts, models, and relevant industry data.
  • Identify, develop, and present investment recommendations.
  • Expand industry and investment knowledge through meetings with company executives, sell-side analysts, consultants, and industry experts.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in an equity fundamental research role covering the financial services sector.
  • A strong track record of investment performance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to relocate to Kansas City, where this role is based.

Nice to Have

  • CFA designation or actively pursuing the CFA designation.

You will be a part of the centralized Nomura Asset Management International equity analyst pool, reporting to the Director of Research.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range of $174k-$202k per year.

Work Mode

This role is an onsite position in our Kansas City office.
