Planet A Ventures is hiring an Investment Associate (m/f/d) to join our European early-stage venture capital fund focused on green-tech startups. In this role, you will work closely with General Partners and scientific advisors to drive the full investment process for planet-positive ventures.
What You'll Do
- Take joint responsibility for the full investment process — from spotting promising ventures and meeting founders to deep-dives, expert calls, and writing proposals.
- Build and nurture meaningful relationships across Europe’s VC landscape, with founders, and industry experts.
- Work side-by-side with our General Partners to bring deals across the finish line — from negotiation to closing.
- Develop expertise in frontier deep-tech topics that hold the keys to solving global challenges.
- Prepare market and industry research that inspires new investment theses and keeps us ahead of emerging trends.
- Support internal projects that help Planet A become ever more thesis- and data-driven.
- Represent us at industry events, on stage, and in writing — from speaking engagements to blog posts.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record in venture capital, private equity, or related investment roles in fast-paced environments.
- Passion for emerging deep-tech trends and readiness to immerse yourself in uncharted waters.
- Exceptional self-organisation and a methodical approach to work, with agility to adapt.
- Engage external partners with conviction and clarity, yet lead with humility and empathy.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Driven by the mission of making a measurable difference for the planet.
Nice to Have
- Solid foundation in a scientific or engineering discipline.
- Multilingual ability.
