Keolis Commuter Services is looking for an Internal Security Unit Officer to ensure the safety and security of passengers, employees, and property across our transit system. In this critical role, you will conduct proactive patrols, respond to incidents, and collaborate closely with law enforcement and other agencies.
What You'll Do
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect security threats.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, providing assistance and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct security checks of facilities, vehicles, and equipment.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety and security.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Provide customer service and information to passengers.
What We're Looking For
- Valid security officer license or certification as required by state or local jurisdiction.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a transit or transportation security role.
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
- Proficiency in report writing and documentation.
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation training.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position requiring physical presence at our transit facilities and patrol areas.
