BMW Group is looking for an Intern in Electromobility and Battery Cell Technology to join a cross-disciplinary team of battery cell experts. In this role, you will evaluate next-generation battery modules, cells, and subcomponents for automotive use, contributing to the advancement of lithium-ion battery cell technology.
What You'll Do
- Gain insight into the current state and future innovations of lithium-ion battery cell technology.
- Experience the working methods of a pre-development team firsthand.
- Support battery cell projects in the field of cell development and validation.
- Help with fill level inspection, setting up experiments, and analyzing data.
What We're Looking For
- Studies in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials sciences, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
- Understanding of the fundamentals of battery cells.
- Analytical thinking and structured approach to tasks.
- Business-fluent English skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with computer vision-based machine learning, MATLAB, Python, or similar data analysis tools for fill level inspection.
