BMW Group is looking for an Intern Automotive Security and Data Analytics to join our innovative Automotive Security System Functions team. In this internship, you will contribute to tooling, data analytics, and AI solutions designed to analyze and secure safety-relevant processes in the automotive environment, with a focus on digital after-sales processes and security standards.
What You'll Do
- Support analysis of data streams in the AWS Cloud to secure digital after-sales processes and protected workflows.
- Actively participate in building and refining a prototypical AI agent for structuring security process analyses.
- Use the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect AI agents with our IT infrastructure and help build these interfaces prototypically.
- Significantly improve the design and efficiency of our internal processes using data analyses.
- Work independently on your project and receive regular feedback from your contact person.
What We're Looking For
- Studies in engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
- Strong coding affinity with fluent knowledge in at least one programming language, ideally Python.
- Solid understanding of databases and targeted data queries, e.g., via SQL, Spark, or PySpark.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure, or other cloud infrastructures.
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to quickly get into action and support proactively.
- Good German and English language skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or initial exposure to Agentic AI is advantageous.
