Parexel is hiring an Intern

Parexel is looking for an Intern – AI Solution Developer to build real-world AI applications that accelerate clinical research. In this eight-week summer program, you'll contribute directly to projects that support clinical trial operations while learning from a skilled UK-based team.

What You'll Do

• Build AI/ML applications using Python, LLMs, TensorFlow, PyTorch, numpy, and scikit-learn.
• Create intelligent agents and automation tools that support clinical research workflows.
• Develop software using Python, TypeScript, SQL, and integrate with cloud technologies like Azure.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Document your work and present your progress to project stakeholders.
• Gain real-world experience in designing, testing, and deploying AI solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Studying (or recently completed) Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field in your 3rd or 4th Year of a Bachelor’s program or pursuing a Master’s.
• Experience with Python and familiarity with ML/AI concepts.
• Basic understanding of SQL, TypeScript/JavaScript, and cloud platforms.
• Curious, analytical mindset with a passion for learning.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Interest in cloud, machine learning, automation, or emerging intelligent systems.
• Looking for hands-on experience applying AI to real business challenges.

Technical Stack

Team & Environment

You will work closely with Information Technology and Data Science teams to design and develop AI applications.
