Responsibilities
- Oversee interior design initiatives for custom residential projects and renovations.
- Conduct pre-contract meetings and collaborate with the architectural team, project managers, and estimator to develop designs.
- Evaluate client design needs and financial constraints to identify optimal design solutions.
- Create design concepts, material selections, and finish choices prior to construction agreements and mobilization.
- Develop and manage schedules for selections, specifications, and approvals for purchasing and construction teams.
- Work closely with the Project Coordinator, Project Manager, and vendors to monitor selections through ordering, delivery, and installation.
- Maintain organized project files and design records for support staff and clients.
- Generate detailed drawings using Revit/CAD software.
- Create 3D renderings to visually represent designs for field staff and clients.
- Ensure updated drawings are provided to Project Managers and on-site Lead Carpenters.
- Adjust plans as needed to address any issues that arise during construction.

- Reviews client’s design requirements and budgets; determines best design options for the client and project.
- Develop design concepts, material palettes, and finish selections in advance of construction contracts and mobilization.
- Prepare and maintain schedules for selections, specifications, and approvals for purchasing and construction teams.
- Coordinate closely with the Project Coordinator, Project Manager, and vendors to track selections through ordering, delivery, and installation.
- Maintain organized project files and design documentation for support staff and clients.
- Creates highly detailed drawings using Revit/CAD software.
