Responsibilities

  • Oversee interior design initiatives for custom residential projects and renovations.
  • Conduct pre-contract meetings and collaborate with the architectural team, project managers, and estimator to develop designs.
  • Evaluate client design needs and financial constraints to identify optimal design solutions.
  • Create design concepts, material selections, and finish choices prior to construction agreements and mobilization.
  • Develop and manage schedules for selections, specifications, and approvals for purchasing and construction teams.
  • Work closely with the Project Coordinator, Project Manager, and vendors to monitor selections through ordering, delivery, and installation.
  • Maintain organized project files and design records for support staff and clients.
  • Generate detailed drawings using Revit/CAD software.
  • Create 3D renderings to visually represent designs for field staff and clients.
  • Ensure updated drawings are provided to Project Managers and on-site Lead Carpenters.
  • Adjust plans as needed to address any issues that arise during construction.
