CareHarmony is hiring an Integration Specialist to join a team of data integration experts. You will be responsible for implementation, analysis, testing, maintenance, design, and debugging of data integration projects, including those for Epic, while providing guidance and support to integration consumers.
What You'll Do
- Act as part of a team of data integration experts to translate business practices into integration solutions.
- Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations to resolve technical roadblocks.
- Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to peers, including onboarding and training new staff.
- Coordinate the translation of business requirements into functional specifications and system build for integration solutions.
- Work closely with application vendors or developers to communicate functional specifications.
- Develop test plans and perform related quality assurance tasks.
- Provide ongoing support by identifying and resolving complex integration issues.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field required (experience in lieu of degree accepted).
- 5-7 years of Information Technology experience required.
- 3-5 years of Data Integration experience required.
- Experience supporting data integrations, preferably in healthcare, including FHIR, REST and SOAP APIs, and HL7 v2 interfaces.
- Ability to document workflows and business processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with technical and non-technical staff.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutions.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Epic, Ready API and/or HealthShare is preferred.
