CrowdStrike, Inc. is looking for an Engineer III - Content Systems to join the Falcon Exposure Management team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the platform that acquires, transforms, and delivers critical content and vulnerability data across CrowdStrike products.
What You'll Do
- Help define, build, and maintain our Content Management System to deliver detections and actionable information.
- Acquire, transform, and ingest third-party data into the CrowdStrike platform from multiple sources.
- Build, manage, and expand internal tools for curating internal content and ingesting it into the platform.
- Build, manage, and expand automated tools for providing Vulnerability Remediation information.
- Build, manage, and expand a release system to automate the process of releasing data across multiple platform streams.
- Build capabilities for improving vulnerability metadata and smoothing the delivery of information to multiple teams.
- Build, manage, and expand tools for validating the content system, its features, and functionality.
- Design and architect models for continuous improvements to ease the release process, improve data quality, and improve system performance.
- Work on cross-team initiatives and projects.
- Troubleshoot critical production and customer issues.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in GoLang/Python.
- Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, optimizing query performance, and understanding query execution plans.
- Knowledgeable of in-memory data structures and algorithms complexity analysis.
- Experience in messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka.
- Hands on experience in large-scale (distributed) system architecture, high scalability and availability, and optimization.
- Operational experience in the maintenance of content systems.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes based development and orchestration.
- Contributed to the open source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging).
- Experience with commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Prior experience in the cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
