Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring an Integration & Automation Developer (Contract)

About the Role

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is looking for a hands-on Integration & Automation Developer for a contract role to join an agile team. You will build automation workflows and system integrations to enable seamless communication between platforms like Salesforce, Loan Origination Systems, and third-party vendor tools, contributing to operational efficiency and a modern, scalable, and secure integration architecture.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Azure services such as Data Factory, Logic Apps, Functions, and API Management.
  • Create automated workflows to move and synchronize data across systems like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, LOS platforms, and vendor tools.
  • Build and maintain backend services using .NET C# and RESTful APIs.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with input from stakeholders and architects.
  • Implement both event-based and scheduled workflows for internal and external operations.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to internal development best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues in existing integrations.
  • Adhere to secure coding practices and assist with vulnerability remediation.
  • Maintain clear documentation on workflows, configurations, and integration logic.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing of integration components.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 years in software development or integration engineering roles.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET C# and building REST APIs.
  • Experience with Azure integration tools such as Logic Apps, Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Key Vault.
  • Solid understanding of API integrations and event-driven architecture.
  • Competency in SQL Server and managing large data sets.
  • Proficient in source control (e.g., Git) and deployment pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience integrating with Salesforce, LOS platforms, or marketing automation tools.
  • Knowledge of secure development practices and tools (e.g., Coverity, Black Duck).
  • Familiarity with Power Automate or low-code platforms.
  • Awareness of compliance, data governance, and monitoring standards.
