Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking an Integrated Solutions Service Technician to ensure the successful design, installation, and commissioning of Building Management Systems for critical pharmaceutical environments. You will be responsible for technical oversight, compliance with stringent regulations, and supporting validation processes.
What You'll Do
- Review BMS design drawings and control philosophy for HVAC, clean rooms, utilities, and critical environments.
- Ensure compliance with World Health Organization GMP, US Food and Drug Administration, and International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering guidelines.
- Verify sensor locations, control points, and overall system architecture.
- Inspect installation of temperature & humidity sensors, differential pressure sensors, VFDs and dampers, BMS panels and controllers.
- Verify I/O point checks and wiring integrity.
- Perform functional testing of HVAC systems including AHUs, Chillers, Clean room air systems, and Exhaust systems.
- Validate alarms and control sequences for critical areas.
- Ensure BMS control of temperature, humidity, differential pressure, and air changes per hour.
- Support DQ / IQ / OQ / PQ documentation (Design, Installation, Operational, Performance Qualification).
- Prepare commissioning protocols and reports.
- Prepare commissioning reports, test records, as-built drawings, SOP and operation manuals.
- Provide training to facility and maintenance teams.
- Work with HVAC contractors, automation vendors, validation teams, and the QA/QC department.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of HVAC and cleanroom systems.
- Experience in BMS platforms such as Siemens, Honeywell, and Schneider.
- Understanding of GMP validation and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Knowledge of BACnet and Modbus communication protocols.
