Wisdom is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of dental insurance verification processes for our customers. This role is a crucial step in setting up an office for success with their billing needs and is the first step of revenue cycle management.
What You'll Do
- Complete insurance eligibility verifications by phone, web, and fax, tracking and summarizing your work.
- Obtain and enter Full Insurance Breakdowns into client practice management systems.
- Partner directly with customers to ensure verifications get done, highlighting failed verifications and requesting additional information.
- Complete daily and weekly reporting to your assigned clients.
- Complete and transmit invoicing forms monthly.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of dental office experience.
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance policies, procedures, and industry trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Familiarity with a variety of practice management solutions (PMS).
- Knowledge of, and ability to comply with, HIPAA, HITECH, and patient confidentiality policies.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
