About the Role

Humana Inc. is looking for an Insurance Product Management Representative to assist in managing insurance product offerings for each market and customer need. You will be part of our caring community, committed to putting health first, and will help ensure our products meet member needs and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the management of insurance product offerings for each market and customer need.
  • Perform moderately complex administrative, operational and customer support assignments.
  • Monitor insurance product performance and recommend changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
  • Support markets by engaging in Medicare product bid filings, implementing product changes, and member communication.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to functional leaders.
  • Help in identifying product gaps, recommending product changes, and overseeing the implementation of changes to products.

What We're Looking For

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms.
  • Experience giving detailed focus on the task at hand with the ability to manage multiple or competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency as it relates to deliverables and priorities.
  • Ability to self-direct, take initiative and meet deadlines.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Easily able to connect and work with others virtually.
  • Ability to focus on detailed information for 1-2 hours at a time.
  • An interest in insurance product offerings.

Nice to Have

  • Associate degree in business or related field.
  • Experience with Medicare or Managed Care products.
  • Auditing experience in any setting.

Team & Environment

Works within defined parameters under minimal direction. You will report to functional leaders.
