Brisbane Catholic Education is looking for an Instrumental Music Tutor (Multi-Instrumental) to join St Peter Claver College as a contractor. In this role, you will provide high-quality instrumental tuition to students, fostering their growth through music within our supportive, values-driven community.
What You'll Do
- Provide private instrumental tuition lessons in Woodwind (primarily Flute and Clarinet) and Brass instruments as requested by parents.
- Conduct an ensemble and participate in school concerts, liturgies, and community events.
- Attend selected concerts and school events.
- Work closely and collaborate with the music teachers and other team members.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant qualifications and previous experience tutoring and/or teaching music.
- Demonstrated strong instrumental knowledge and technical proficiency in Woodwind and Brass instruments.
- A collaborative spirit and ability to work as part of a team.
- A commitment to supporting student growth through music.
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
Nice to Have
- Ability to conduct/direct ensembles.
