Optum Tech, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking an Instructional Design Manager to design and develop impactful self-paced learning content and manage compliance training initiatives. What You'll Do
- Design and develop effective self-paced learning content.
- Utilize platforms like Articulate 360 to create skills-based learning modules.
- Take direction and apply feedback from senior team members while managing multiple priorities.
- Track task progress accurately within project workplans.
- Communicate effectively with subject matter experts, peers, and compliance leadership.
- Use HR data to define training audiences and configure criteria in the Learning Management System.
- Use Oracle Learn to build compliance courses, including technical testing and troubleshooting.
- Investigate, correct, and respond to reports of course issues.
- Comply with all terms of the employment contract, company policies, and directives.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of instructional design experience in a corporate or healthcare training setting, with a total of 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
- 2+ years of Learning Management System administration experience.
- Experience with project management and project deployment.
- Knowledge of adult Learning Theory and its application to designing learning experiences.
- Proven proficiency with eLearning authoring tools, such as Articulate products.
