Cotiviti’s Retail division is hiring a Senior Insights Analyst. In this key role, you will work closely with our Retail operations and R&D teams to guide the data analysis process. You will be responsible for designing reports and dashboards, analyzing complex data sets, and delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations to optimize performance and drive business growth.
What You'll Do
- Utilize BI tools like SQL Management Studio, Power BI, and Tableau to support and enhance the reporting and data warehouse environment.
- Design and implement data visualization dashboards and reports for stakeholders at all levels.
- Support management in evaluating, defining, and standardizing key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage the full development lifecycle for report generation, including development, QA, UAT, and bug fixes.
- Use advanced analytical techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations within large, diverse data sets.
- Interpret analysis results to provide actionable recommendations and conduct root cause analysis for business problems.
- Lead data analysis projects from data collection through to insights generation and presentation.
- Generate actionable insights by synthesizing data analysis with industry knowledge and business context.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for differentiation.
- Stay current with emerging trends in data analysis and business intelligence, and lead the evaluation of new tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, define analytical requirements, and prioritize initiatives.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders clearly and compellingly.
- Adhere to data governance policies and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security standards.
- Complete all assigned responsibilities and special projects.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Expertise in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization, with proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Demonstrated experience creating, debugging, and modifying complex SQL stored procedures and views.
- Experience with data governance, data quality management, and data security best practices.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide and support a team of analysts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills focused on driving actionable insights aligned with business objectives.
- Experience working with large and diverse data sets, including structured and unstructured sources.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of key business processes and metrics.
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, strong quantitative aptitude, and data interpretation skills.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with SSIS.
- Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques like machine learning, predictive modeling, or optimization algorithms.
- Certification in relevant areas such as data analysis, business intelligence, or project management.
- Experience in a leadership or managerial role.
