Solventum is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to establish and maintain customer relationships and drive sales growth through strategic virtual sales. You will be accountable for achieving monthly activity goals and exceeding sales forecasts by creating and executing business plans, while teaming with field sales representatives when appropriate.
What You'll Do
- Introduce new dental care and oral hygiene products to relevant customers and prospects.
- Drive Solventum sales to assigned distribution in managed territories.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships through a comprehensive understanding of customer business and sales models.
- Maintain a working sales plan with strategies and tactics to achieve annual sales forecasts.
- Demonstrate a proficient level of procedural and technical product knowledge to identify products that meet customer needs.
- Work to attain sales quota, sales quality, and sales productivity metrics.
- Share best practices with the team to promote a positive team environment.
- Proficiently identify market trends and account needs to react to market activity and reach favorable sales goals.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and 2 years of experience in sales and/or the dental industry
- OR High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and a minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and/or the dental industry
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
Nice to Have
- One or more years of outside sales and/or inside sales experience
- Account management experience
- Salesforce.com experience
- Skills include solution selling, listening skills, and gain commitment
- Ability to work effectively in a sales team environment
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to stay on task and maintain high productivity levels while working both in the office and remotely
