National Jewish Health is looking for an Infrastructure Innovation Engineer to lead the development and implementation of next-generation technologies and systems. You'll focus on researching, testing, and supporting the integration of innovative solutions into infrastructure and technology platforms to ensure scalability, performance, and seamless operation.
What You'll Do
- Explore and implement emerging technology solutions.
- Design systems to enhance scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to address technology challenges.
- Lead testing, piloting, and integration efforts.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Support smooth transitions to long-term operations.
- Research and analyze emerging technologies to identify opportunities for system-level innovation.
- Develop and optimize systems that can scale effectively across different platforms and infrastructures.
- Work with business partners and stakeholders to understand technology deficiencies and challenges.
- Collaborate with endpoint, server, software, and network engineering teams to integrate technologies into existing systems.
- Design and implement solutions to enhance system interoperability and communication across different platforms.
- Lead pilot projects and proof-of-concept development to evaluate the effectiveness of new system solutions.
- Collaborate with vendors to gain a deeper understanding of available technology solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the seamless integration of new solutions into existing procedures and business operations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering, technology development, or systems integration.
- 5 years of overall IT work experience.
- Experience with cloud-based systems, endpoint architectures, network architectures, system architectures, distributed systems, as well as diagramming and technical documentation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, blockchain, IoT, or other next-generation innovations.

Team & Environment
You will collaborate closely with the Director of Technical Innovation and Project Management and work alongside cross-functional teams, reporting directly to the Director of Technical Innovation and Project Management.

- Salary range: $102,589.71 - $135,674.89
