Libertex Group is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure solutions across AWS and remote data centers. You'll focus on automation with Terraform and Terragrunt, proactively monitor performance, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Design and deploy functional networks, primarily in AWS with some remote physical data centers using LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall technologies.
- Monitor network performance and integrity.
- Deploy and support Kubernetes (K8s) services.
- Resolve issues and troubleshoot cloud and local infrastructure using a service desk system.
- Write infrastructure as code using Terraform with Terragrunt.
- Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
- Create, oversee, and test security measures including access authentication/authorization and disaster recovery.
- Configure monitoring with tools like VictoriaMetrics and ELK.
- Communicate with internal users and Customer Service when required.
- Compile and maintain thorough technical documentation.
- Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of network administration and architecture in geographically distributed environments.
- 1+ years of cloud networking, preferably in AWS, with medium-sized networks.
- Understanding of dynamic routing protocols (e.g., BGP) and access control models.
- Proficiency in Linux administration and command-line tools.
- Hands-on experience in network security and hardening.
- Familiarity with diagnostic and monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, Zabbix, DynaTrace).
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting of containerized applications.
- Practical experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Service Desk systems such as Jira Service Desk or ZenDesk.
- Working knowledge of DNS, certificates, domain management, and CDNs (e.g., Cloudflare).
- Spoken English at B2 level (Upper-Intermediate) or higher.
Nice to Have
- Terraform experience is a plus.
- Experience with network equipment (e.g., Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet); knowledge of network OS (JUNOS, Cisco IOS).
- Basic scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, or Perl.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or BSD Specialist.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
