As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a central role in shaping and maintaining the backbone of our platform. Your work will directly impact system reliability, deployment speed, and operational efficiency across engineering and data teams.
What You'll Do
- Design and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring configurations remain consistent and drift-free across environments.
- Architect scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, including networking components like VPCs, subnets, DNS, CDNs, and load balancers.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, reliable software delivery with strong observability and security controls.
- Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters and service mesh systems to support distributed applications at scale.
- Develop monitoring solutions using tools like Datad0g, Prometheus, and SumoLogic to detect, diagnose, and resolve incidents quickly.
- Implement secure identity and access management practices across cloud services and internal systems.
- Analyze and resolve database performance issues, contributing to schema design and configuration improvements for PostgreSQL, Aurora, and Redshift.
- Track platform costs and collaborate with teams to align usage with financial goals.
- Lead root cause analyses after incidents and drive long-term fixes to prevent recurrence.
What We're Looking For
- At least four years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and automation.
- Proven expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
- Strong background in infrastructure as code, observability, and zero-downtime system migrations.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python or Golang.
- Direct experience managing large-scale databases and distributed systems.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and current residence within the U.S.
Preferred Experience
- Working knowledge of OpenSearch, Postgres, Aurora, and Redshift.
- Experience building secure, production-grade CI/CD pipelines.
- Background in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
