Semper Prospera GmbH is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer / DevOps Specialist (gn) for a significant, nationwide digitalization initiative in the public sector. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance IT architectures using modern automation and cloud-native technologies.

What You'll Do

Conceptualize, set up, and maintain development, test, and reference environments.
Develop and integrate cloud-native applications using modern technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Automate infrastructure and deployment processes based on containers.
Coach and support project teams in using application lifecycle platforms.
Optimize build, CI/CD, and configuration management processes.
Install and administer third-party products such as Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Keycloak.
Evaluate and introduce new build tools and automation techniques.
Develop Puppet modules and Ansible storyboards.
Create and maintain technical documentation and delivery units.
Automate build steps using shell and build scripts.
Execute integration tests and support release builds.

What We're Looking For

A completed IT degree or comparable training (e.g., Fachinformatiker:in).
Several years of professional experience in Java development (Spring Boot, Quarkus).
Solid knowledge of microservice architectures and self-contained systems.
Practical experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, ArgoCD).
Experience in Continuous Integration with Jenkins and GitLab CI.
Proficient handling of UNIX/Linux systems (from SLES12) and shell scripting.
Experience in configuration and build management (Git, Gradle, Puppet, Ansible).
Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and test automation for distributed applications.
Experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and lifecycle processes.
Fluent German language skills in speech and writing (minimum C1 level).
Analytical thinking, a solution-oriented work approach, and enjoyment of complex technical environments.

Nice to Have

Experience in the public (financial) administration sector.
