FNTIO is looking for an AWS Cloud Architect to design and implement scalable, high-availability cloud environments on Amazon Web Services. In this fully remote role, you will be pivotal in developing customer enterprise architectures, optimizing existing IT infrastructure, and advising clients on developing new software in the AWS cloud.
What You'll Do
- Develop scalable, highly available, and performant cloud environments based on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Support the further development of customer enterprise architectures and help shape their strategic direction.
- Develop and continuously optimize existing IT architecture.
- Advise customers on developing new software in the AWS cloud and help them find the best solution.
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field, or alternatively vocational training in the IT sector.
- Deep understanding of AWS beyond buzzwords, knowing what matters in developing scalable services.
- Experience with object-oriented software development and proficiency in several common programming languages such as C#, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Enthusiasm for cloud topics and enjoyment working in agile teams.
- DevOps as a lived practice in test-driven development and CI/CD.
- Good German and English language skills.
Nice to Have
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience with AWS.
- Experience with CDK, Lambda, and Docker.
