The selected candidate will focus on creating innovative deep learning and statistical models to interpret genomic data, with a particular emphasis on classifying variants of uncertain clinical significance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced algorithms that integrate clinical phenotypes, functional genomics, protein structure, and evolutionary constraints to improve genome interpretation
- Act as the main point of contact in collaborative research initiatives with academic, nonprofit, and industry partners
- Guide and coordinate a multidisciplinary research team to meet scientific objectives
- Disseminate findings through publications and presentations to diverse technical and clinical audiences
- Translate research outcomes into scalable software tools that advance genetic analysis for the broader scientific community
Qualifications
