PABCO Gypsum is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our Newark, CA manufacturing plant. You will perform general maintenance using mechanical and minor electrical skills to support plant operations and equipment uptime.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and troubleshoot complex pneumatic and hydraulic processes.
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on process equipment.
- Fabricate parts and components as needed.
- Manage inventory by tracking existing parts and reporting needs for reorder.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area according to plant standards.
- Abide by all company and government safety regulations and report hazards.
- Complete all other assigned tasks and responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two (2) or more years of related experience and/or training.
- A commitment to regular attendance.
- Ability to lift and/or move 60 pounds or more.
- Open availability, including required weekend availability.
- Willingness to accept potential call-ins, overtime, and night/weekend shifts.
