The Inside Sales Associate at Eurofins Scientific plays a key role in driving revenue by serving as the first point of contact for customers interested in DNA testing services. This position requires a customer-focused, performance-driven individual who can educate, inform, and guide clients through the sales process with empathy and professionalism.
What You'll Do
- Field 30-40 inbound calls per day requiring active listening and documenting customer details
- Quickly understand and analyze customer needs to provide logical solutions
- Explain DDC’s products and services in a professional manner via phone, email, text message, or chat
- Utilize consultative sales techniques to overcome objections and close sales
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and sensitivity when handling confidential or emotional inquiries
- Achieve or exceed performance goals including Closing %, Revenue Per Call, and Calls Per Day
- Escalate customer needs that require additional knowledge or ability to leadership
- Research required information using available resources
- Attend training and coaching sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills
- Able to document information in an application while on an active call
- Able to learn other database and communication software, as applicable
- Follow DDC procedures and guidelines to ensure that DDC’s services are offered in a manner consistent with our mission and vision statements
- Other duties as assigned or become evident
