The Implementation Engineer provides technical leadership in deploying and adopting a password and secrets management platform for enterprise customers. This role involves direct customer engagement, deployment planning, issue resolution, and collaboration with engineering and product teams to support successful onboarding and sustained use.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the platform and its full suite of services
- Lead technical planning and execution of new deployments, emphasizing best practices for large enterprise clients
- Advise customers on industry-standard practices across the entire platform stack
- Work closely with customers to resolve current issues and anticipate future challenges
- Deliver high-quality guidance during customer implementation, including security best practices
- Act as a dedicated technical contact for named customers through coordination with customer engagement resources via ticketing and email systems
- Support customer quarterly business reviews by contributing to environment audits, best practices assessments, and highlighting relevant new features for expansion or adoption
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to prioritize bug reports and feature requests based on customer needs and scale, particularly for enterprise deployments
- Support training initiatives and foster a culture of knowledge exchange within the Implementation Engineering team
- Promote knowledge sharing among team members and partner with technical writers to document best practices, troubleshooting steps, and configuration recommendations
- Lead or assist in internal projects such as replicating customer environments for debugging, integrating with third-party tools, and building automation for customer and internal use
- Represent the company in customer meetings, industry events, or team offsites when needed, with occasional travel
Requirements
- Strong command of written and spoken English with excellent grammar
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities, including identifying and communicating solutions even when direct answers are not known

- Genuine enthusiasm for helping users succeed with the platform
- Prior experience in a technical role such as Systems Engineer, Implementation Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or IT Infrastructure Engineer; equivalent education or demonstrable skills may be considered

Compensation
Starting base compensation range: $130,000 - $155,000 for U.S. candidates
