Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is looking for an IGQC Inspector (Inwards Goods Quality Control). In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and reliable verification of externally supplied raw materials to ensure they conform to specification and standards. This is a hands-on position within a warehousing environment, involving some lifting and working with precision tools and technical documentation.
What You'll Do
- Verify externally supplied raw materials to ensure conformance to specification and standards.
- Lead and/or actively participate in continuous improvement projects to ensure product quality.
- Work hands-on in a warehousing environment, including some lifting.
What We're Looking For
- Self-driven with excellent communication skills.
- Basic knowledge in math and stats.
- Have used precision measuring equipment (Caliper, Micrometer, etc.).
- Have an understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience using Excel and Microsoft Office general package.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to foster positive internal customer relationships.
- Ambitious, proactive approach and keenness to learn.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Science, or similar.
- Previous experience using statistical software (Minitab or Matlab).
- Previous experience in Quality Control/Assurance in a similar regulated industry.
