Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive ICT designs tailored to diverse client needs using industry-standard Structured Cabling Systems methodologies
- Formulate ICT system designs aligned with specified client criteria and operational goals
- Oversee multiple stages of design development for intricate ICT initiatives
- Produce detailed plans for both copper and fiber optic cabling infrastructures
- Plan cable routing, containment strategies, and spatial layouts to allow for multiple service providers and redundant access points
- Define rack layouts incorporating optical distribution frames, patch panels, and passive network components
- Verify that all designs adhere to applicable codes, regulations, and technical standards
- Generate construction drawings, technical documentation, and material quantity estimates
- Collaborate with architecture, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, security, and operations disciplines
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate security, building automation, energy management, audiovisual, and IP-based systems into facility operations
- Apply advanced understanding of ICT infrastructure to execute complex tasks including site assessments, design, development, and construction oversight
- Collect and analyze engineering data following established procedures
- Execute detailed or routine design and consulting tasks under supervision
- Deliver work in alignment with project timelines and financial constraints
