Johnson Controls Inc. is looking for an IA and AI Architect to spearhead the development and governance of our Intelligent Automation initiatives. In this role, you will design innovative AI strategies and architect solutions that deliver measurable value across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Architect and implement scalable AI solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, AI Builder, UiPath Agents, Azure AI services, UiPath Document Understanding, and Microsoft Copilot.
- Lead AI automation prompt engineering strategy, creating reusable prompt frameworks to optimize generative AI performance.
- Design, fine-tune, and optimize AI models for enterprise-grade applications, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and compliance.
- Own AI automation model evaluation and benchmarking, conducting rigorous performance testing.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for AI endpoints and scalability, defining architectural patterns for secure integration.
- Establish and enforce governance for AI automation applications, including best practices for efficiency, security, and lifecycle management.
- Drive alignment with IT teams to maintain consistency in AI frameworks, standards, and governance models.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define measurable KPIs and success metrics for automation initiatives.
- Shape enterprise AI automation strategy by introducing innovative approaches to prompt engineering, model selection, and deployment.
- Champion AI scalability and resilience to handle enterprise-level workloads and future growth.
- Influence technology roadmaps by providing thought leadership on emerging AI trends and competitive insights.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating complex AI capabilities into actionable business outcomes.
- Foster a culture of excellence through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of overall experience with Microsoft AI and UiPath Document Intelligence technologies.
- At least 2 years of experience in AI model training, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
- Proven experience in AI architecture, Intelligent Automation, and enterprise-scale deployments.
- Expertise in AI prompt engineering and generative AI model optimization.
- Demonstrated proficiency in constructing AI models.
- Comprehensive understanding of AI business solutions and designing AI strategies for enterprises.
- Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI Builder.
- Experience with Azure AI services, Document Intelligence, document classification, OCR, and information extraction.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot.
- Experience in API integrations, REST services, and database management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to analyze complex business requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership effectively.
- Knowledge of AI, OCR, and Machine Learning technologies applied in business solutions.
Nice to Have
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate or equivalent certifications.
- Familiarity with API integration, AI endpoints, and scalability strategies.
- Understanding of governance, security, and compliance best practices in AI solutions.
