This role is central to understanding customer needs, supporting commercial activities, and establishing Ascendis as a valued partner to healthcare professionals and their patients, with a primary focus on supporting the launch of Yorvipath.
What You'll Do
- Develop superior product and disease state knowledge to engage in clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals.
- Effectively educate on approved indications and product efficacy or safety profiles to support on-label prescribing.
- Use your knowledge to engage in customized discussions and in-person interactions based on customer needs in a compliant manner.
- Drive outstanding sales performance to meet or exceed sales forecasts.
- Effectively use assigned budgets to drive therapeutic and territory expectations.
- Maintain a current understanding of the local market, practice structures, business models, and key influencers, sharing insights with stakeholders.
- Work with customers and accounts to understand practice structure, identify business opportunities, and apply appropriate resources.
- Partner with leaders to develop a business plan to achieve goals and understand formulary approvals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver appropriate resources and support pull-through activities within your territory.
- Demonstrate administrative excellence in managing work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, and sample and expense reporting.
