Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of HSEQ Management Systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and internal HSEQ policies.
- Support internal and external audit activities, including tracking and closing out findings.
- Maintain accurate documentation, registers and compliance records.
- Support the development, review and improvement of policies, procedures and Safe Work procedures.
- Coordinate incident reporting, investigation and corrective actions.
- Manage Non-conformance Reports (NCRs), including tracking, root cause analysis and closure.
- Conduct and review risk assessments, JSAs and hazard identification processes.
- Support implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist in communicating learnings and improvements across teams.
- Comply with the organisations Health, Safety, Environment and Quality management system and any local legislation, regulations and standards
- Uphold duty of care obligations under WHSQ laws, including safe work practices and hazard management.
- Provide HSEQ support across multiple locations, including remote operations and workshops.
- Conduct site visits, inspections and field risk assessments.
- Support frontline leaders with risk identification, control implementation and decision making.
- Support contractor and customer safety management processes.
- Assist in monitoring environmental performance (waste, emissions, spills, sustainability practices).
- Support compliance with environmental permits, reporting requirements and management plans.
- Support the development and improvement of environmental procedures and response plans.
- Support onboarding and compliance training for new employees.
- Coordinate inductions, competency assessments, health monitoring and customer specific requirements.
- Facilitate and support HSE Committee meetings.
- Prepare regular HSEQ performance reports, dashboards, metrics and insights.
- In conjunction with the HSEQ Lead - Highlight trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Support continuous improvement projects across HSEQ and operational teams.
- Maintain HSEQ documentation, systems and reporting tools.

Requirements
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar HSEQ role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting remote or field-based workforce and workshop environments.
- Experience working across multisite or multistate operations.
- Proven experience managing risk assessments, NCR processes and investigation activities.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and ability to apply risk management principles.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation capability.
- Effective communicator (written and verbal).
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to travel as required (including interstate and overseas).
