About the Role

Protective Industrial Products (PIP) is hiring an HR Operations Specialist to optimize and support our core HR operational functions. In this role, you will be integral to the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, while ensuring data integrity and driving process improvements. You will partner with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and accuracy across our global HR operations.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partner teams to ensure an efficient and positive onboarding experience.
  • Manage the team member offboarding process, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Regularly update and maintain accurate, confidential employee records in the company’s HRIS.
  • Assist with audits and reporting to meet legal requirements.
  • Participate in system testing and validation during upgrades to ensure correct downstream processing.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze global HR data to drive initiatives and continuous process improvements.
  • Generate and interpret HR metrics, providing insights to support decision-making and process optimization.
  • Maintain data tracking tools and dashboards.
  • Review and audit employee file documentation for compliance and proper storage.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other employee-facing documentation.
  • Provide technical and administrative support for HRIS configuration and user experience.
  • Assist with general HR administrative tasks and address team member inquiries as needed.
  • Support various HR projects and assist other department initiatives as assigned.
  • Provide additional support during critical periods such as open enrollment, year-end compensation cycles, and policy rollouts.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-3 years in an HR operations or comparable role.
  • 1+ years working directly with an HRIS system to manage employee records and generate reports.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and address inquiries effectively.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced Excel skills a plus.
  • Experience with Cornerstone On Demand or ADP Lyric highly preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a multinational or global organization is preferred.
