The Timken Company, a global leader in engineered bearings and industrial motion products, seeks an HR Business Partner to join our team. This entry-level, development-focused role reports to the Manager – Human Resources and supports HR initiatives across assigned business partners. You will work directly with business leaders to deliver HR support aligned with business goals, foster employee engagement, and support the full employee lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Support the HR Manager team in delivering day-to-day HR services to assigned business partners.
- Assist business leaders and managers with employee relations matters.
- Manage the Talent Management process, ensuring the development of talent and addressing performance issues.
- Assist managers with Succession Planning for key positions.
- Participate in recruitment activities including job postings, candidate interviews, and offer administration.
- Review, analyze, and report HR metrics and trends to support business decisions.
- Support compensation and benefits administration.
- Coordinate training and development programs.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure HR policies and processes are applied consistently and in compliance with local laws and company policy.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand organizational priorities and workforce needs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, HR, or a related field.
- Highly organized and process oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service orientation.
- Ability to operate with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Nice to Have
- Previous internship experience with a manufacturing company.
