Manchester Airports Group (MAG) is looking for a Hospitality Host to join our team at East Midlands Airport. In this role, you will be at the heart of our airport lounges, delivering exceptional service and ensuring a seamless, enjoyable experience for every customer.
What You'll Do
- Provide a meet and greet service, dealing courteously and efficiently to ensure a world-class level of customer service.
- Ensure Lounge facilities are consistently presented to a high standard in line with operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all Lounge customers, including those from consolidators, direct bookings, and airlines.
- Process payments (credit/debit cards and cash) for direct bookings and reconcile all monies taken.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to product directions and licensing requirements.
- Maintain stock levels, date rotation, and replenish the food and beverage buffet service.
- Dispose of waste, including recycling, appropriately and transport it to designated locations as required.
What We're Looking For
- A solid background in the hospitality and service sectors.
- A team player with an absolute first-class approach to customer service.
- Demonstrable flexibility and experience working across long trading days.
- Numerical and analytical skills to process data and provide performance information for budget delivery.
- Computer literacy with mainstream PC applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience working on your own initiative.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old to comply with our alcohol service policy.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a similar hospitality or lounge setting.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: £13.45 per hour.
