Azurity Pharmaceuticals is hiring a Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist for the East Chicago region. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic business plan across a wide geographical area, targeting key decision makers in hospital and medical settings to drive sales and build relationships.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for a wide geographical area to target, penetrate, and establish a network with key decision makers and stakeholders.
- Call on physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists across multiple medical subspecialties in various settings.
- Communicate clear messages in complex clinical situations to healthcare providers.
- Utilize data sources to maximize strategies and capitalize on opportunities with the greatest return on investment.
- Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals.
- Manage and track territory-specific information through a CRM system.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 8 years of Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Healthcare Industry sales experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage key account relationships.
- A documented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals and demonstrating growth while managing your own territory.
- Business acumen and a strong comprehension of difficult clinical information.
- Ability to articulate complex clinical messages to Healthcare Providers in real-time situations.
- Excellent organization, time management, oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal, virtual engagement, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with a CRM tool like Veeva or Salesforce.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
- Ability to travel as needed for the territory/role, including air travel.
- Attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Nice to Have
- Buy and Bill & Injectable product experience.
- Oncology experience.
- Hospital Sales/Account Based Selling experience, including familiarity with the P&T/Formulary process.
- Knowledge of local/regional health systems.
