SRG Global Mining Services is hiring a Home Care Support Worker to provide compassionate care and support to elderly clients (65+) in their homes, helping them maintain their independence. This is a permanent part-time role focused on delivering personalized in-home assistance.
What You'll Do
- Provide domestic assistance including cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation (for entry-level carers).
- Provide personal care services such as showering, toileting, and medication assistance, alongside domestic duties and social supports like transportation (for experienced carers).
- Be a friendly face and brighten someone's day.
What We're Looking For
- Live in the Northern Rivers region including Alstonville, Ashby, Casino, Coraki, Coutts Crossing, Evans Head, Goonellabah, Grafton, Gulmarrad, Iluka, Kyogle, Lawrence, Lismore, Maclean, Wollongbar, Yamba & surrounding area.
- Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (international licenses or shared/rental vehicles not accepted).
- Available to work a minimum of 6 hours per day between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
- Commitment to a paid 2-week 'Brilliant @ Basics Training' program upon starting (travel required).
