CampusWorks, Inc. is seeking an experienced Higher Education Interim Controller/Finance Consultant. In this key role, you will provide critical financial leadership and strategic oversight for our higher education clients.
What You'll Do
- Assume responsibility for the core financial operations and controllership functions for client institutions
- Provide expert guidance on financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls specific to higher education
- Analyze financial performance and develop actionable recommendations for improvement
- Lead and mentor client finance teams through periods of transition or transformation
What We're Looking For
- Substantial, demonstrated experience in a senior financial leadership role (Controller, Director of Finance, CFO) within a higher education setting
- Deep expertise in higher education accounting standards, fund accounting, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to assess, stabilize, and improve financial operations and reporting processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and influence leadership teams
