This position provides essential technical support for the company's global information systems, focusing on maintaining reliable operations across desktop environments, telephony, and remote sites. The technician plays a key role in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operations within the MIS department by identifying, assessing, and resolving technical issues
- Provide assistance with phone system functionality and configurations
- Manage user support tickets from global locations, including Costa Rica and satellite offices
- Deliver desktop support for operating systems, software applications, hardware, and peripheral devices
- Offer remote technical assistance to teams across the United States, Asia, Europe, and South America
- Coordinate procurement of IT hardware and software, managing vendor relationships and supply logistics
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in an MIS or IT support role
- Proven background in troubleshooting PC-based software and systems
- Correctable vision to 20/40 and ability to view a computer screen for extended periods
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds from floor to waist level
- Able to sit or stand continuously for at least 90 minutes without medical restriction

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with remote support responsibilities spanning multiple global regions. The technician will collaborate with teams across Costa Rica, the U.S., Asia, Europe, and South America, requiring flexibility in coordination and communication.
