Teal is hiring a Help Desk Specialist

About the Role

Teal is looking for a Help Desk Specialist to provide high-quality remote support to our clients. Under the direction of a POD lead, you will be instrumental in resolving technical needs with a focus on timely solutions and a customer-centric approach.

What You'll Do

  • Work with our clients in a remote support capacity.
  • Effectively describe problems or needs to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide timely technical and customer support in a pleasant and helpful manner.
  • Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and emergency Help Desk coverage.
  • Analyze, make decisions, and solve problems.
  • Meet the performance goals established by your direct supervisor.
  • Read, understand, and follow all company and job-related policies and procedures.
  • Attend required company and departmental meetings.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years of Help Desk Support experience.
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve basic technical issues.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.
  • Ability to stay organized and multitask.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
  • A+ Certification highly desired or must obtain within 120 days of employment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Mac is a plus.
